Yeah - Crocodyl is an impressive and potentially powerful collaborative research platform.

The two approaches seem complementary, in the sense that Crocodyl enables conscious analysis/synthesis of hard data about company behavior, while Vanno tries to measure the impression/sentiment (aka reputation) that consumers/citizens unconsciously develop about companies from personal experiences, hard data and social influence.

If you buy the complementarity argument above, then crocodyl research is an valuable "seed" for the reputation measurements that Vanno wants to make.

Thanks for providing that info about Vanno. I will check it out.

You might want to look at Crocodyl (<a href="http://crocodyl.org" rel="nofollow">crocodyl.org</a>), a wiki of critical corporate profiles that I am helping to develop.

Kudos to opensecrets, followthemoney and the other corporate transparency efforts that you've highlighted here. We've just launched a site that you also might find useful and complementary as you research and chronicle corporate misbehavior.

Vanno.com measures company reputations by capturing and quantifying consumer and citizen insights into how companies treat their employees, communities, the environment and society in general.

We invite you to check us out - we'd love to include your voices in our social evaluation of company reputations.
