		<description><![CDATA[I was relieved last year when GM agreed to the VEBA.  My dad, who worked 33 years for GM in Flint has suffered heart and other physical ailments for at least 10 years and he&#039;s in his early 60&#039;s.  These are serious medical costs &quot;legacies&quot; if you will, that happen to shop rats that no one seems to care about.  Lest we forget about the time his forklift nearly catapulted him off the shipping dock bec mgmt refused to fix the reverse gear.  He shouldn&#039;t have come home that day.

On the other hand, my mother in law works for AIG denying claims for a greedy company with a merciless corporate hierarchy.  I&#039;m glad i don&#039;t know how the figures on their bailout.  

For my dad and his buddies, I hope that they can hold on a few more years.  They don&#039;t deserve this shit.]]></description>
