[...] It’s bad enough that employees of a military contractor, Stanley Inc., were taking unauthorized looks at the passport records of presidential candidates. Now it turns out that the other company involved, The Analysis Corp. (TAC), is a contractor for intelligence agencies and is a subsidiary of a larger foreign-based security company that has been involved in Iraq.
This is so very confusing, not to mention disturbing. Maybe you can help sort some of the following. Please correct where necessary.

1. The two workers from Stanley accessed Obama's file and were fired?

2. There was a third worker with TAC who accessed Obama files and McCain's files and was not fired?

3. The worker who during training accessed Clinton's files was the one from TAC as well?

Does this mean the worker with TAC accessed files during training and then two additional times and was not fired?

Am trying to piece this together a bit but there is much conflicting info out there.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

The listing for the contribution to Clinton must have been added today. It wasn't there when I searched last night. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hey Phil, good overview of Stanley.

You missed one very interesting nugget:

Open Secrets also reports that Phil Nolan gave $1,000 to Hilary Clinton on Feb 20, 2008. That's the night of the New Hampshire primary. The very next day, Feb 21, is the day that Obama's files were breached.

Contributor

Nolan, Philip
Mc Lean,VA 22101
Stanley, Inc
2/20/2008
$1,000
Clinton, Hillary

Some coincidence!

Best
