		<description>Interesting observations.   We&#039;ve looked at companies like Toyota in detail, and broken out their perceived performance in five different areas - customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, community involvement, the environment and social responsibility.    
Toyota has been historically strong in all areas, with employee satisfaction the (relative) weakest, as you note.   The recent issues impact customer satisfaction by our accounting - i.e. that&#039;s where product safety falls.    By that definition, we&#039;d have to take issue with your claim that their social responsibility cred is gone - we see it much more as a customer satisfaction issue.
